About Aquarius Dancers
Aquarius Dancers begun in 2000. Our Vision has always been to create a fun, friendly, affordable, low pressure dance school. We believe everyone should have the opportunity to dance and we also believe that performances should not be left just to a studio show group. We believe that dance is a form of art and not a competitive sport. Our priority is to create a love of dance and a high level of self confidence in every student.
About Me
Tracey Murphy – Principal of Aquarius Dancers
I have been involved in the world of dance since I was aged 3. I have been involved in competitions from age 4, examinations from age 4 and teaching since age 16. I have 3 sisters who all did dancing, so I can safely say that dancing has always been my life. I have danced solos, duos, troupes, performed in hundreds of eisteddfords, concerts, examinations, festivals, television shows, rock eisteddfods, charity events and much much more. I’ve performed over the country and overseas.
By the age of nineteen i knew what i loved about dance (that list is endless) but also what i didn’t like about dance. Through being to multiple studios i knew that dancing can be very expensive (I was lucky to have a mother who sewed or else we just could not have been involved in dancing) I also learnt that there are a lot of competitive and mean studios around. My vision for my studio was to create a low cost dance school that offers dance to anyone that want to have a go, in a fun, friendly atmosphere.
My mother have been by my side throughout the many years that Aquarius Dancers has been around, and we are very proud to offer the dance school, that we set out to achieve back in 2000
